The Role
They are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas / HVAC Engineer to join their growing team. The role will primarily involve the service, maintenance, repair, and breakdown of commercial gas and boiler systems, with some involvement in air conditioning works. This is a field-based role covering Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire, offering door-to-door travel pay, excellent earning potential, and long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, and breakdown repair of commercial gas appliances and boiler systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on commercial heating systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Completing reactive maintenance works efficiently and safely
- Basic servicing and fault finding on air conditioning systems (desirable)
- Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company standards
- Completing accurate job reports and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience working with commercial gas systems and boilers
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, etc.)
- Some working knowledge or experience with air conditioning systems (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
