An excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join a well-established consultancy with over 30 years of industry experience. The role will involve carrying out the full range of asbestos analytical duties across a wide variety of site types, including commercial, industrial, and public sector sites. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance air testing, and completing four stage clearances to allow areas to be safely reoccupied.
- Working closely with asbestos removal contractors, site managers, and clients, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with current legislation.
- Involvement in bulk sampling and producing clear, accurate documentation in line with company procedures and industry standards.
- Supporting survey teams by assisting with management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys.
- Maintaining a flexible and collaborative approach across the business and managing own workload effectively.
Qualifications:
- BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications as a minimum; P402 considered an advantage.
- At least two years of hands-on experience as an Asbestos Analyst.
- Strong working knowledge of HSG 248 and HSG 264, applicable on site.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Strong report writing skills, excellent attention to detail, IT confidence, and a full UK driving licence.
Benefits:

- Overtime typically Β£3,900βΒ£5,760 per year.
- Travel pay outside of 40-hour week: Β£3,000βΒ£4,000 approximately.
