We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team, focusing on Noise & Vibration projects in Southampton. Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating Noise & Vibration projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Support the development of project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to noise and vibration, sharing insights with the team.
- Collaborate with contractors, team members, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to minimize noise and vibration impacts during project brainstorming sessions.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a basic understanding of or interest in Noise & Vibration concepts, with a willingness to learn.
- Be eager to learn project management tools (experience with MS Project is a plus but not required).
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Possess excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving.
In this role, your daily activities will include:
- Attending project meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
- Organizing project files, tracking progress against milestones, and managing schedules.
- Gathering and reviewing noise and vibration data, interpreting findings with increasing independence.
- Assisting in the preparation of project reports and documentation.
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure project resources are in place.
- Shadowing experienced team members on-site to support project delivery.
