Graduate Architectural Technician Location: Shrewsbury Salary:£25-29,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly respected property and planning consultancy in Shrewsbury. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will support a range of architectural and planning projects, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle from initial concepts through to planning submissions and technical design. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or aspiring Architectural Technician to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment that offers genuine long-term career progression. The Role Assist with the preparation of concept drawings, planning applications, and Building Regulations submissions. Produce detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Prepare reports, specifications, and other design documentation. Research building materials, products, sustainability practices, and relevant legislation. Support the wider Planning team on a range of residential and commercial projects. About You A degree in Architectural Technology, or an HND/HNC. Strong design, technical drawing, and problem-solving skills. A good understanding of Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction methods. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. What's on Offer?
