Our client is seeking an experienced Architect to join their growing team in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and technically capable professional looking to work on a varied project portfolio. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of project delivery, contributing innovative design solutions while working closely with clients, consultants, and wider project teams.

The Role

  • Develop client briefs into innovative and practical design solutions in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work
  • Prepare planning applications, technical drawing packages, specifications, and statutory submissions
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders throughout project delivery
  • Produce sustainable, compliant, and commercially viable design solutions
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, design reviews, and client presentations
  • Support project documentation, quality assurance procedures, and risk management processes
  • Assist in the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion

Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect with approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience and a strong understanding of UK project delivery
  • Excellent design, technical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other visualisation software
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and experience producing technical drawing packages
  • Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning legislation, and construction processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for architecture and design
