A specialist consultancy delivering wastewater and integrated hydraulic modelling projects is strengthening its modelling capability.

As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will build and verify hydraulic models, support surveys and site investigations, and contribute to project scoping and reporting. The Hydraulic Modeller will supervise graduate modellers, analyse results and engage with clients alongside senior staff. This role combines hands-on modelling with mentoring and project development responsibilities. A minimum of three days per week will be office-based in Sheffield, with flexibility built around project needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and verify wastewater hydraulic models
  • Plan and supervise surveys and site investigations
  • Analyse results and generate mapping outputs
  • Prepare reports and risk assessments
  • Support and check work of junior modellers

Candidate requirements

  • Relevant degree with modelling experience
  • Minimum three years' wastewater hydraulic modelling experience
  • Strong ICM 1D experience with some 2D exposure
  • Confident using Excel and GIS or mapping tools
