We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Environmental Sales Manager to join a highly successful Brownfield Remediation Consultancy and Contractor operating in the Sheffield region. Suitable candidates will have commercial experience, selling environmental services ideally within Soils and Hazardous Waste Management. This is a key role responsible for developing and growing soil treatment and disposal sales across the Yorkshire and North East regions, working closely with internal teams and external project partners to deliver profitable, compliant, and customer-focused solutions.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of sales activity for the site, building strong relationships with clients and project partners while ensuring enquiries, quotations, and solutions are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective, trusted relationships with project partners and clients
- Manage and update quotations
- Develop and deliver a regional sales strategy and business plan in collaboration with the Commercial Manager
- Support regional marketing campaigns alongside the Commercial Director
- Undertake client visits, including soil sampling and sales-related activities
- Work closely with technical teams to provide optimal hazardous and non-hazardous soil solutions
- Monitor market conditions and competitors, identifying opportunities to broker uncontaminated and non-hazardous soils

The Environmental Sales Manager - Soil Treatment will be a proactive and commercially minded individual with a strong understanding of the regional soils market, with extensive knowledge of WM3 waste classification and assessment.
