An established and growing engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil / Structural Technician to join its team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to work on a varied range of civil and structural engineering projects, producing high-quality technical drawings and supporting engineers throughout the design and delivery process.
The Role
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
- Work closely with engineers and other members of the design team.
- Prepare general arrangement drawings, details and construction information.
- Assist with the development and coordination of engineering designs.
- Interpret engineering calculations and design information.
- Contribute to projects across a range of sectors.
- Ensure drawings and documentation meet required technical and quality standards.
About You
We are looking for a technician with experience within a civil or structural engineering environment. You should be technically minded, detail-oriented and comfortable working as part of a collaborative design team.
Ideally, you will have:
