Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-regarded and expanding planning consultancy, is looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their team in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects across a variety of sectors while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will be a key player in delivering complex planning projects, managing applications, and providing strategic advice to clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and preparing planning applications and appeals for a diverse range of projects
  • Advising clients on planning strategies and navigating local planning policies
  • Leading consultations with local authorities and key stakeholders
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff members
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development

Key Requirements:

  • Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to obtaining chartership)
  • Extensive knowledge of Scottish planning policies and procedures
  • Proven experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy or local authority
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work to tight deadlines
