Salary: £48,000 – £55,000

We are excited to be recruiting for a skilled Sustainability Consultant to lead and support the delivery of environmental certifications across a wide range of projects. If you have proven experience in BREEAM, WELL, Ska, and LEED and are eager to make a difference across sectors such as healthcare, education, historic buildings, and sci-tech, this could be your ideal opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the successful delivery of environmental certifications with support from senior team members
2. Guide design teams in developing compliant and effective design strategies, ensuring all necessary evidence is provided
3. Assist with planning applications, LCA assessments, and construction site monitoring
4. Review evidence and prepare validation statements for submission to third-party certification bodies

Qualifications and Experience:

1. A formal qualification in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field within the built environment
2. BREEAM Assessor qualification and/or BREEAM AP status, with hands-on experience with BREEAM projects
3. A background in sustainability within the planning, design, and construction industries
4. Working knowledge of UK environmental legislation and its relevance to development projects
5. A strong passion for sustainability, with a proven track record of implementing strategies that promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability
6. Proficiency in lifecycle tools such as OneClick LCA and experience with circularity assessments
7. Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of stakeholders
