This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planning professional to take on a senior role, working on a wide range of high profile projects across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, regeneration, and mixed-use development. The Role

As a Senior / Principal Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in managing complex planning projects, providing expert advice to clients, and supporting the continued growth of the planning team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application strategies
  • Providing strategic planning advice to a diverse client base
  • Leading projects from inception through to determination
  • Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Mentoring junior planners and contributing to team development
  • Supporting business development and client relationship management

About You

You will ideally have:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • MRTPI status (or working towards for Senior level)
  • Significant experience in UK planning, ideally within consultancy
  • Strong report writing, communication, and project management skills
  • A proactive and commercially aware approach
