They are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to join their dynamic team and contribute to their impactful work in the housing market. The Role: Senior Planning Manager This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for managing all facets of planning applications, regulatory approvals, and the promotion of strategic land opportunities within the Eastern region. Collaborating closely with internal departments, external consultants, and local authorities, the Senior Planning Manager will drive the timely delivery of successful planning outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Planning Application Management: Oversee the preparation, submission, and progression of planning applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and planning regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth approvals. Project Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver planning objectives, ensuring projects are executed within agreed timeframes. Strategic Land Promotion: Identify and promote land opportunities to maximize long-term development potential. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure all planning activities are fully compliant with relevant policies and legislation. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with planning activities and approvals.
