My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Consultant to join their innovative Team. This role offers remote or hybrid working from Oxford. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Civil or Water Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Water Company completing mathematical modelling, water quality modelling, hydrological assessments and coding using Python and R. It is beneficial for applicants to have experience specialising in coding. This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join the experienced Team to complete catchment management, nutrient neutrality, hydrology and water quality projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Government Bodies. You will be expected to develop new and existing software for flood risk, flood estimation, water quality and water resources. Candidates will be required to complete; Catchment management plans. Nutrient neutrality assessments. Water quality assessments. Water Quality Modelling using Qube. Flood Estimation Coding using Python and R Software development amending and improving flood estimation and water modelling software.
