An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with large offices across Scotland and the wider UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established and highly respected engineering team working on a broad range of infrastructure, commercial and residential developments.
The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of ground investigation and geotechnical design projects, while supporting junior engineers and working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
- Experience within a geotechnical or ground engineering consultancy
- Strong knowledge of ground investigation and geotechnical reporting
- Experience in foundation design, slope stability and retaining structures
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects and liaise with clients
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- A full UK driving licence
