A highly respected environmental and ground investigation consultancy based in London is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join and strengthen its established ground investigation and remediation team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a technical lead on a diverse portfolio of ground-related projects across London and the wider South East, with genuine influence over project delivery and a clear pathway for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Plan, specify and manage Phase I, II and III site investigations
- Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies
- Deliver contaminated land investigations covering soil, groundwater, ground gas and waste
- Review project outputs to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Work closely with site teams, geotechnical specialists and design engineers throughout the project lifecycle

About the role / Candidate profile
You will hold a BSc or MSc in an environmental or engineering-related discipline (such as geology, geoscience or earth sciences) and have substantial experience in contaminated land assessment, remediation and ground investigation. You should be based in or near London, hold a full UK driving licence, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a valid CSCS card. Chartered status, or demonstrable progress toward chartership, along with experience reviewing geotechnical work, will be highly advantageous.
