An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to work across a wide range of geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects throughout the UK, supporting major residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from initial site investigation through to reporting and client liaison, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.

The Role

  • Managing and delivering geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects
  • Producing factual and interpretative reports
  • Overseeing ground investigations and site works
  • Preparing remediation strategies and validation reports
  • Client liaison and project management responsibilities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior consultants
  • Assisting with business development and proposal preparation

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or related subject
  • Experience within a geoenvironmental or geotechnical consultancy environment
  • Strong report writing and project management skills
  • Knowledge of contaminated land and ground investigation processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence
