My client, a specialist UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant based in London.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong academic background with a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Modelling.
• Experience in completing flood risk assessments.
• Beneficial experience in drainage strategies, climate change, and nutrient neutrality.

Responsibilities

1. Complete Flood Risk Assessments.
2. Conduct Flood Risk Due Diligence for Real Estate.
3. Perform Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap.
4. Analyze Rainfall, Weather, and Wildfire data.
5. Prepare Hydrology and Environmental Chapters for EIAs.
6. Assess Nutrient Neutrality.
7. Develop Property Flood Resilience strategies.
8. Create Drainage Strategies and SAB Applications.
9. Prepare bid proposals and tenders.
10. Manage projects and coordinate with clients.
11. Participate in client meetings to discuss project development.
