A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its established Birmingham team. This Senior Civil Engineer role will see you working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and infrastructure developments, leading projects from initial feasibility through to technical approval and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of S278 highway schemes and associated infrastructure works
- Produce and review designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and relevant junction design software
- Deliver highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects to programme and budget
- Ensure compliance with DMRB, Manual for Streets and LTN 1/20 standards
- Liaise with local authorities, National Highways, clients and project stakeholders
- Support drainage design, S38 adoption and S104 approval processes
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain high technical standards across projects
- Assist with fee proposals, technical reports and business development activities
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
