I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a fantastic multi-disciplinary consultancy in Manchester. The team are looking for an experienced ecologist to join them in delivering a range of multi-disciplinary projects to their long-term clients. The company provides services within Ecology, Arboriculture, Sustainability and Biodiversity Net Gain. They work on a range of projects within transport, energy, government and utilities.

Requirements for the role of a Senior Ecologist include:

  • Experience within species mitigation as well as holding a protected species licence.
  • Excellent report writing skills as well as in checking other team members' reports for quality.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. QGIS experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities of a Senior Ecologist include:

  • Using your experience within survey design and delivery.
  • Leading on large developments and mitigation projects.
  • Supporting less experienced members of the team.
