They are looking for a capable, driven Senior Drainage Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of experts, based in the vibrant, unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds.\\n\\nBenefits for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include (but are not limited to):\\n\\nCompetitive salary, rising with length of service\\nBonus schemes\\nCompany pension scheme\\nGenerous annual leave allowance\\nOpportunities for flexible working, on a hybrid basis\\nAn inclusive working environment, with a focus on collaboration and support\\nContinuing Professional Development (CPD) and extensive career progression opportunities\\nSupport in pursuing chartership, and payment of subscription to Professional Institution\\nLife Assurance Scheme\\nCycle-to-Work Scheme \\n\\nResponsibilities for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:\\n\\nProduce designs for drainage and highways, in relation to the relevant Section Agreements (namely, S104, S38, and S278)\\nPrepare technical assessments and other documents for new developments\\nCheck and amend technical drawings and reports for submission\\nSupport colleagues and clients to understand technical concepts\\nPrepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders\\nManage projects, ensuring work is undertaken within budget and timeframes, to the highest of standards\\nLiaise closely with clients and Project Managers regarding project delivery\\nEnsure industry standards and regulations are always complied with \\n\\nRequired skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:\\n\\nA Degree (or equivalent/higher qualification) in Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant field)\\nExtensive experience of working in an infrastructure design-based role, within a UK consultancy\\nDemonstrable experience of preparing designs (particularly in relation to the relevant Section Agreements, including S38, S278, S104)\\nExcellent working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage, and/or Causeway Flow\\nExperience of producing Flood Risk Assessments and designing drainage strategies\\nCompetent in your knowledge of relevant design standards, including Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, national planning policy, etc.\\nGood working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D\\nGood understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (to include Word, Excel, etc.)\\nExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills\\nA full, valid UK driving licence \\n\\nDesirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:\\n\\nOutstanding literacy and numeracy skills\\nPrior experience of managing stakeholders \\n\\nIf you are interested in the role of Senior Drainage Engineer, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
