My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Flood Risk, Drainage and Environmental Management, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Engineer to join a friendly and supportive team in London.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and UK based experience completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, water quality or hydraulic modelling.
It is beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring junior team members.
This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in London. You will be required in the office initially full time to train and mentor staff, check and complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Water Quality, Flood Risk, Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
You will be expected to manage projects, mentor team members and complete technical work including:
- Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
- Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.
- Water Framework Directive Assessments.
- Water Quality Assessments.
- Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.
- Hydrological Assessments.
- Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.
- Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro, Infoworks ICM and Tuflow.
- Drainage Strategies.
