Job Title: Senior Asbestos Analyst
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday (4-day week)
Salary: £29,000 per annum + £350 monthly car allowance (£4,200 total per year)

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Asbestos Analyst to join their established team based at a Power Station in Leiston, Suffolk. This static role offers a consistent Monday to Thursday schedule, providing a great work-life balance with a long weekend every week.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical and monitoring services on a major nuclear decommissioning project. This is a fantastic opportunity for an asbestos professional seeking a stable, site-based position within a leading environmental consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Four Stage Clearances, Air Monitoring, and Fibre Counting in accordance with UKAS and HSE requirements.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Uphold quality control procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Participate in internal quality assurance and audit programmes.
- Stay current with asbestos legislation, guidance, and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with site management and the wider technical team.
- Represent the company professionally and promote a strong safety culture at all times.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- BOHS P403 and P404 (or equivalent recognised qualifications).
- Proven experience conducting Four Stage Clearances and Air Monitoring for a UKAS-accredited organisation.
- Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, HSE guidance, and UKAS quality systems.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high professional standards.
- Full UK driving licence required
