An established architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architect with strong post-qualification experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of projects across a diverse portfolio, leading schemes from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in design development, project coordination, and client management, while working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading projects through all RIBA stages from concept design to completion
  • Developing creative, practical, and technically robust design solutions
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Preparing and reviewing design proposals, planning applications, and technical information
  • Leading project meetings and presenting designs to clients and planning authorities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior Architects and Architectural Assistants within the studio
  • Ensuring projects comply with current Building Regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards

Key Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect with significant post-qualification experience within a UK practice
  • Proven experience leading projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong design, technical, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and experience producing high-quality design and technical information
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and construction methods
  • Experience delivering projects through all RIBA work stages
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client-facing skills
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members would be advantageous
