This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, a highly-regarded, market-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are actively searching for a skilled, enthusiastic SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the local region. You will be based near the stunning, historic city of St. Albans.

Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:
- Producing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, namely new residential developments
- Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
- Developing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
- Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
- Experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developments, in a UK-based consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
- Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
- Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.
Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
- A Higher Degree in a relevant discipline
- Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this
- Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
