Our client is an ambitious and well-regarded environmental consultancy delivering ecology, sustainability and environmental planning services to some of the UK's most interesting development and infrastructure projects. With continued growth across their ecology team, they are now looking for a Senior Ecologist who wants more than just another consultancy role.
This position offers the chance to step into a trusted technical and project-leading role, where your expertise will directly influence project outcomes and the direction of the ecology team.

What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of ecological projects from initial survey through to final delivery
- Leading habitat and protected species surveys across a wide variety of sites
- Producing and reviewing technical reports, including PEAs and EcIAs
- Advising clients and project teams on ecological risk, constraints and opportunities
- Supporting and guiding junior staff in the field and in the office
What our client is looking for
- A degree in Ecology or a closely related subject
- Solid experience in ecological consultancy
- Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Confidence in managing projects and dealing directly with clients
- Protected species licences (bats, GCN or similar)
- A full UK driving licence
