We are seeking a motivated Environmental Project Manager to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Project Manager who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Manchester.
As an Environmental Project Manager, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in Manchester, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
- Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
- Support earthworks and materials management activities
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statementsEnsure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for an Environmental Project Manager who is practical, detail-focused, and keen to grow their career in Manchester.
- Degree in Environmental Project Managering, Geology, or a related discipline
- Experience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)
- Live within a commutable distance of their Manchester office
- Full UK driving licence
