Acoustics Sales Manager — £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission. Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be hiring on behalf of an industry-leading specialist in acoustic and thermal solutions for temporary structures. Our client is seeking an Acoustics Sales Manager to drive the expansion of their growing acoustics and audio division across the UK, with future scope into the EU market. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of sales within a high-growth business unit, working with major names in the marquee, events and hospitality sectors. With an ambitious five-year growth plan in place, this role offers genuine commercial influence and long-term progression.

The role

  • You will lead the sales strategy for the acoustics division, developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships.
  • Generating new sales across wedding, live-event, hospitality and leisure markets.
  • Managing relationships with consultants, clients and structure providers.
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Advising customers on acoustic system design and mitigation solutions.
  • Supporting pre-sales surveys and site assessments.
  • Collaborating with marketing to deliver targeted sales campaigns.
  • Tracking performance via CRM systems.
  • Representing the business at trade shows and industry events.
  • Providing market feedback to support product development.

About you

  • Our client is looking for a commercially driven professional with strong technical credibility.
  • Experience in technical sales within acoustics, AV or live-events.
  • IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
  • Solid understanding of acoustic principles and UK noise regulations.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivation and a target-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your pipeline.
  • Willingness to travel UK-wide (with occasional overseas travel).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DSP platform experience (e.g. Symetrix) is desirable.
