A leading UK environmental consultancy is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to join its thriving team in London. This is a standout opportunity for a Principal EIA Consultant to lead high-profile projects across infrastructure, transport, energy, and urban regeneration within the capital and beyond.

As a Principal EIA Consultant, you'll oversee full EIA project lifecycles - from scoping through to Environmental Statements - while guiding internal specialists and liaising with planning authorities. You'll deliver projects under the Town and Country Planning Act and NSIP/DCO regimes, with a focus on technical quality and commercial delivery.

We're looking for a Principal EIA Consultant with:

  • A relevant degree and deep knowledge of UK EIA and planning legislation
  • Experience leading EIAs for major developments, preferably in London
  • Confidence managing multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in report writing, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance

This London-based role offers a £55,000 to £65,000 salary, private healthcare, flexible/hybrid working, bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance, and long-term progression in one of the UK's most dynamic EIA teams.
