A respected UK-based Acoustic and Environmental Consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Acoustic Consultant in either its Brighton or London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned acoustics professional ready to step into a strategic leadership role, driving project quality, developing sector growth, and mentoring a talented team.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience within acoustic consultancy.
  • Expertise in environmental and/or building acoustics.
  • Demonstrable success in managing major projects and client portfolios.
  • A proactive approach to leading teams and driving business development.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Preferred Experience:

  • Chartered status or actively working towards it (e.g., MIOA, CEng).
  • Experience overseeing junior consultants and project teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence in leading client engagements.
  • Advanced skills in acoustic modelling, data analysis, and report delivery.

The Role:

This position offers the chance to shape and lead a core area of the business, setting strategic objectives and overseeing delivery on a wide range of complex acoustic projects. You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and enhancing the consultancy's technical and commercial capabilities.
