Principal Structural Engineer Leicester REF SO 44 Salary up to £55,000 I am actively seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Leicester. Your role will involve undertaking structural designs on large projects from commercial, residential, industrial, and educational sectors. It is essential for this Principal Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following: A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng or BEng A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Structural design Working towards a chartership status (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership Hold Full UK driving license Design experience in materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonryDuties and responsibilities for this Principal Structural Engineer include: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers and technicians. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex structural challenges. Provide technical direction and oversight on complex structural projects.
