A well-established engineering consultancy with around 60 staff is continuing to grow its civil engineering capability across Scotland and the north of England. As a Principal Project Director, you will play a central role within a close-knit Glasgow civils team, leading the delivery of development infrastructure projects across industrial, commercial, residential and education sectors. The business operates with a strong office-based culture, encouraging collaboration, design quality and team engagement.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of development infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
- Oversee roads, drainage and earthworks design across multiple schemes
- Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Support business development, fee proposals and project resourcing
- Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to engineers and technicians
- Ensure quality, compliance and programme delivery across projects
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
- Significant UK consultancy experience in development infrastructure
- Strong background in roads, drainage and infrastructure design
- Proven leadership and client-facing experience
- Chartered status or equivalent level of experience
- Commercial awareness and experience supporting project growth
This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position within a growing consultancy where your input is visible and valued. The salary for this position is £75,000 - £90,000, alongside a monthly personal day, a dedicated development day, pension, life assurance and a strong, collaborative office environment.
