An established and growing acoustic consultancy is looking to recruit a Junior Acoustic Consultant for its Norwich office. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career in acoustics who is eager to build practical experience within a supportive and well-respected team.
The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects throughout the East of England, covering environmental noise and building acoustics. Responsibilities will include:
- Noise monitoring
- Acoustic analysis
- Technical reporting
- Liaising directly with clients

Key duties:
- Carrying out environmental noise surveys and building acoustics testing

- Supporting senior consultants on larger and more complex schemes
- Contributing to proposals, tenders and business development activities
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related subject
- Around 2-4 years' experience in environmental and/or building acoustics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with BS4142, BS8233 and relevant planning guidance
- Currently studying for, or willing to undertake, the IOA Diploma
- Full UK driving licence
