The Role
- Support senior engineers and consultants in the delivery of site investigation and environmental assessment projects.
- Assist with Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments.
- Support intrusive site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling.
- Log soil and rock samples.
- Assist with factual and interpretative report writing.
- Liaise with laboratories, contractors, and internal teams.
- Support risk assessments and remediation strategies.
- Undertake site work across Northamptonshire and the wider UK.
About You
- Degree in Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in geoenvironmental engineering and contaminated land.
- Willingness to undertake site-based work in varying conditions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards one).
