A specialist UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy is looking for a Noise Monitoring Technician to join their growing acoustics team to be remotely based in the East Midlands.

Essential Requirements

  • A degree in Acoustics (or a related subject) - MSc or BSc level.
  • Around 1-2 years' experience working with a UK consultancy.
  • Tech IOA membership (or higher).
  • Either completed - or happy to complete - the IOA Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement.
  • Great attention to detail and strong note-taking skills.
  • Comfortable working alone and travelling around the UK (a company van is provided).

It would be great if you also have:

  • Hands-on experience calibrating and maintaining noise monitoring equipment.
  • Some exposure to Rail, Traffic, or Transportation projects.
