A respected Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist to join their growing team in Newquay, Cornwall.
Our client is a well-established consultancy operating across Cornwall, the South West and wider UK, known for technical excellence, a collaborative culture and long-term client relationships. They offer a supportive environment where senior professionals can influence technical delivery and business direction whilst continuing their professional development.

Responsibilities:
- Leading multiple geoâenvironmental and geotechnical projects of varying complexity
- Preparing and reviewing fee proposals, technical scopes and qualityâassured reports
- Providing expert input across ground investigation, interpretation and design
- Acting as a key technical contact for clients and design teams
- Mentoring junior and mid-level staff and supporting senior operational decisions
Qualifications:
- Chartered status (CEng or CGeol) with extensive postâgraduate consultancy experience
- Strong foundation design, piled foundations and slope stability expertise
- Competence in ground investigation interpretation (BS 5930, BS 10175, Eurocode 7)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Live in or near to Newquay
- Full right to work in the UK
