Are you a Senior Civil Engineer based in Cardiff looking to take ownership of project delivery, client relationships and technical quality? This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants influence, variety and progression within a respected consultancy.
You will be joining a well-established civil engineering consultancy anchored in the Cardiff office, working closely with a local team while supporting projects across Wales and further afield. The work spans residential housing, care and retirement schemes, industrial developments, remediation and renewable energy, supporting clients wherever their projects are located.
The role:
- Lead the technical delivery and performance of civil engineering projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading drainage, highways and civil infrastructure design to adoption standards.
- Managing quality, accuracy and technical compliance of engineering outputs.
- Working closely with the Civil Engineering Director on project delivery and performance.
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Producing technical designs, reports and supporting commercial delivery.
About you:
This role suits a capable Senior Civil Engineer ready to lead. You will ideally have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years' post-graduate experience delivering civil design projects.
- Experience using MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Confidence in client-facing communication.
- Chartered status preferred but not essential.
