Role Overview
The successful candidate will perform service, maintenance, and installation work on a range of HVAC systems for commercial clients. You will leverage your technical expertise to identify and resolve faults while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves both independent work and collaboration as part of a skilled team.
Core Responsibilities
As a Mobile Multi-Skilled A/C Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Service, maintenance, and installation work across various systems, including:
Gas and oil-fired boilers
Pumps and pipework systems
Air handling units
Valves (manual and actuated)
Chillers
Split A/C systems
VRV/VRF systems
Troubleshooting and resolving technical faults efficiently.
Providing excellent customer service to clients while communicating effectively.
Working independently and within a team to deliver high-quality results.
Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation digitally.
Adhering to health and safety best practices at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
A minimum Level 2 F-Gas qualification.
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Experience in M&E building services (essential).
Chiller knowledge (preferred but not essential).
Competence in using computers and software for job reporting.
A professional, customer-focused mindset and the drive to continuously develop your skills.
What You Can Expect
On a typical day, you will:
Travel to clients\’ premises across London, Greater London, and the South of England.
Perform routine maintenance and service checks on HVAC systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, ensuring optimal system performance.
Undertake installations when required.
Collaborate with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
Keep detailed records of all work completed.
