We are seeking a Senior Civils Design Engineer with significant experience in the current design of highways and drainage for residential developments, including external levels and plot drainage design. You will be invited to join a friendly, growing, civil and structural practice on a permanent basis. You will be paid a generous and fair salary based on experience, and offered a work life balance, with the option to work some days from home. Responsibilities:
- Design highways and drainage for residential developments, including external levels and plot drainage design.
- Complete designs independently.
- Conduct site appraisals and drainage feasibility studies.
- Produce Flood Risk Assessments.
- Prepare and submit Section 38 and Section 104 documents and navigate approval processes.
- Handle LLFA in England and SAB within Wales submissions.
- Use AutoCAD, Causeway PDS, and Causeway Flow design software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' design office experience.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Flood Risk Assessments.
- Experience with LSS ideal.
