An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Geo-Environmental Manager to join a well-established geotechnical and environmental consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers the chance to lead high-profile commercial and infrastructure projects while working alongside an experienced team of contaminated land and geotechnical specialists.

The successful Geo-Environmental Manager will take ownership of delivering and managing a wide range of Ground Investigation and contaminated land projects across the region. You will play a key role in both technical delivery and team leadership, with scope to further develop the geotechnical side of the business as the consultancy continues to grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Phase 1 desk studies
  • Overseeing interpretative reporting
  • Reviewing and completing DQRA work
  • Supervising sites
  • Managing programmes and budgets
  • Acting as a main point of contact for clients
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff, ensuring high technical standards are maintained across projects

This is a varied role, combining office-based technical work with site and client-facing responsibilities.
