A well-established and highly regarded UK planning consultancy is seeking a Town Planner to join its Manchester team, as part of continued growth across the North West. This consultancy advises leading developers, landowners, and public-sector bodies on a wide range of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development projects. The Manchester office plays a key role in delivering high-profile schemes across Greater Manchester and the wider North of England.
The Role
Based in Manchester, you will work closely with colleagues across planning, development, and environmental disciplines, contributing to projects from early strategy through to delivery. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing planning applications and supporting documentation
- Advising clients on planning strategy, risk, and site promotion
- Undertaking planning policy research, site appraisals, and due diligence
- Engaging with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
- Supporting or leading appeals, representations, and planning statements (depending on experience)

About You
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
- MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership
