An award-winning employee-owned architectural practice is seeking a talented Project Architect to join its Manchester studio. The successful candidate will take a leading role on the delivery of a £20m semi-industrial training facility currently progressing through RIBA Stage 3 and beyond. The project comprises a mix of classrooms, workshops, auditorium space and flexible workspaces, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a technically diverse and socially valuable scheme.

Working alongside an established project team, this role would suit an experienced Architect who can quickly take ownership of project responsibilities and confidently lead packages through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and technical development of a major training facility project
  • Coordinate consultants and project stakeholders
  • Produce and review technical information and project documentation
  • Support project delivery through RIBA Stages 3-5
  • Ensure project quality, programme and design intent are maintained
  • Collaborate closely with the wider project team
Requirements
  • Qualified Architect or international equivalent
  • Strong workplace and/or commercial project experience
  • Ability to step into a Project Architect role and hit the ground running
  • Excellent technical and coordination skills
  • Revit proficiency is essential
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Immediate start preferred, although notice periods will be considered for the right individual.
