Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and managing ground investigation works
  • Soil and rock logging in accordance with current British Standards
  • Carrying out site investigations including trial pits and boreholes
  • Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports
  • Assisting with geotechnical assessments and foundation recommendations
  • Supporting contaminated land assessments and remediation projects
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geoscience, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within ground investigation or geotechnical consultancy
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Good understanding of geotechnical and contaminated land principles
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and progress
