Duties for the role of Design Director:
- Deliver significant projects that involve masterplanning, concept design and detailed planning applications
- Contribute to business development and generate revenue for the company
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Manage and mentor junior team members to contribute to their professional development and ensure successful project delivery
Skills and experience for the role of Design Director:
- Degree within Architecture or Architectural Technology
- Previous experience as an Associate Director within a UK practice or developer
- Significant post qualification experience within the UK residential industry
- Previous experience delivering residential led projects across the Midlands
- Working knowledge of local authorities within the midlands
- Track record of managing and mentoring a team
- Strong experience within financial management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
