A well-established water hygiene and compliance business is recruiting an experienced Account Manager to join its equipment sales division. This role focuses on managing existing client relationships while driving new water hygiene equipment sales across London and the South East.
As an Account Manager, you will work closely with M&E consultants, contractors, and project teams to promote and supply water hygiene solutions. You will be responsible for securing product specifications, managing opportunities through the sales cycle, and converting projects into orders. Strong relationship management and technical understanding are key to success in this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing an existing client base
- Developing new water hygiene sales opportunities
- Securing specifications and progressing projects to site
- Attending client meetings and delivering presentations
- Negotiating commercial terms while protecting margins
- Liaising with internal engineering and operations teams
- Maintaining knowledge of water hygiene regulations (ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01)
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Account Manager or in business development
- Background in water hygiene, construction, M&E, or building services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
