Salary: 45,000/50,000Working: Hybrid An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Heritage Planner to join a highly regarded and established independent planning consultancy based in London.

The consultancy provides specialist planning advice to both private and public sector clients across the UK, with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused planning solutions across a wide variety of sectors.

Their expertise includes heritage planning, conservation, listed buildings, planning applications, appeals, development management, site appraisals and major development projects.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Heritage Planner to join a growing and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing heritage and planning advice across a diverse portfolio of projects, including work involving listed buildings, conservation areas, historic buildings and sensitive heritage environments.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, architects, local planning authorities and other professional consultants, helping to develop and deliver successful planning strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a heritage specialist looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established consultancy with an impressive portfolio of projects.

Strong professional experience in heritage planning / conservation.

Experience working with listed buildings and conservation areas.

Good understanding of heritage legislation, policy and guidance, including the NPPF.

Experience preparing or contributing to heritage statements, planning applications and heritage assessments.

Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Confident dealing with clients, consultants and local planning authorities.

Ability to manage projects and work across multiple instructions simultaneously.

MRTPI, IHBC or a relevant heritage/conservation qualification would be advantageous.

A commercially minded and proactive approach to planning consultancy.

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
