The role will involve leading the delivery of geotechnical design for major infrastructure and civil engineering projects, providing technical leadership, managing design teams and supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle. Lead geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, slopes and deep excavations. Interpret ground investigation data and develop appropriate ground models and design parameters. Manage geotechnical risks and ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes and project specifications. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders. Support project delivery, technical proposals, resource planning and client relationships. Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline. Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly design consultancy and major infrastructure projects. Good knowledge of Eurocodes, relevant British Standards and geotechnical design software.
