Contract Supervisor - HVAC / Air Conditioning

Location: London / Mobile (All within M25)
Salary: Up to £58K plus vehicle/fuel card & package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Supervisor to join an established HVAC and building services operation in London.
This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone with a strong Air Conditioning / HVAC engineering background, who is confident dealing with engineers, clients, subcontractors and site-level technical issues.
The Role
As Contract Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing engineers and apprentices across a range of planned and reactive HVAC works.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting engineers and apprentices across allocated contracts
Ensuring reactive call-outs are progressed and completed on time
Providing technical assistance and fault-finding support to engineers
Ensuring PPM works are completed in accordance with SFG20 and HVAC standards
Carrying out site audits and identifying remedial works
Auditing and maintaining site logbooks and plant-room records
Liaising with Contract Managers, Helpdesk Coordinators, clients, building managers and tenants
Ensuring RAMS, quotations and reports are completed and issued on time
Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations
Managing technical issues on site and helping achieve first-time fixes
Maintaining excellent customer relationships and high standards of workmanship
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Strong experience within Air Conditioning / HVAC
Previous experience in a supervisory, contract or senior engineering position
Relevant City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning/HVAC
F-Gas qualification and good understanding of F-Gas management
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and xgikmsk associated plant
Experience working to SFG20 standards
Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and risk assessments
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to fault-find and provide technical support to engineers
The ability to lead, coach and develop engineers and apprentices
