A growing UK-built environment consultancy is seeking experienced Fire Engineers and Fire Risk Assessors to join its expanding fire safety team. Operating across England and Wales, the role offers the opportunity to help shape and develop a rapidly growing fire engineering service supporting residential, mixed-use, education, and high-risk buildings.

The successful Fire Engineering candidate will contribute to a wide range of services including:

  • fire strategies
  • fire risk assessments
  • PAS 9980 assessments
  • external wall reviews
  • compliance audits
  • fire engineering analysis
  • compartmentation surveys
  • design reviews
  • expert witness support
  • construction fire safety advice

Applicants should have strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards, including the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, PAS 9980, BS 9991, BS 9999, BS 7974, and relevant Building Regulations. A degree in engineering or a fire-related discipline is preferred, along with Chartered, Incorporated, or equivalent professional status.
