Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Falkirk and the wider Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to join a respected consultancy offering a structured workload, strong operational support, and long-term career development. THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout the Central Belt. Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types
  • Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
  • Working across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties
  • Managing your own workload across multiple client sites
  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
  • Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
  • Ability to manage your workload independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
