THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout Liverpool and the surrounding region. Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
- Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
- Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
